There is a fundamental split in my generation, and it boils down to this: did you stop liking the Eagles in high school, or do you still like them as an adult? Ask that question, and you will know everything you need to about the person you're talking to.
There, I saved you a lot of time and effort. No thanks are necessary.
I don't know who the Eagles are. I feel so left out. I'm going to have to google them, I suppose.
