One lost his "boom box" for a while because he broke the tape player. I told him the other day he could have it back if he went up to the study to get it. He came back down several minutes later:
One: "I got it but it doesn't work."
Me: "Did you get the cord and plug it in?"
One: "Oh. .... No. ... I'll be right back."
Pause for 8 year old to run upstairs and back down again.
One: "Now it works."
Sigh.
