Right Wing Extremism

You have to read this DHS report that came out yesterday - quelle surprise - the day before the Tea Party events were scheduled. Apparently, right wing extremism is on the rise, and it might lead to domestic terrorism. Yup, sure. Here's a brief description of who they're worried about:

"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration." [my emphasis]

Is this the Chicago Political Machine in action or what? Don't fight your opponents on the issues - bring them down however you can. Use your government cronies for personal attacks, whatever it takes - that's the way things are done in Chicago - oh, excuse me - Washington, DC.
