The "S" Word

Well, I can't say I agree with Governor Rick Perry's legal reasoning, but I have to give Captain Blowdry credit for the first time ever - yesterday he said that if Texans weren't happy, we might just secede.

Yes! We just might, damnit!

And for the Texas governor to stand up and say so took guts.

"There's a lot of different scenarios," Perry said in Austin. "We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."
