Electoral College Tie?

This is endlessly fascinating to me. I'd like to say that politics has gotten so partisan and down-in-the-dirt we deserve something like this to happen. But considering the last time there was an Electoral College tie Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton over it, I think politics in America have always been as foul and dirty as they are now.
