News to Celebrate About

"Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos has confirmed that former presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, who was held captive by the FARC, was rescued during a military operation on Wednesday. Santos said no one had been hurt in the rescue."

Betancourt was a FARC prisoner for over 6 years, moved frequently from one remote camp to another in almost impenetrable jungle. She is now very ill - rumored to have Hepatitis B and be in great need of a blood transfusion. But she is free in Bogota tonight with her family - praise God.
